BMX Special Magazine (1982 - 1984)

BMX Special Magazin (1982 - 1984)

BMX Special magazine was founded at the end of 1982 by publisher Manfred Mayer, who entrusted his young colleague Aris Donzelli with the management of the project. After an initial four-page announcement, the first issue appeared as a supplement to the magazine "Motocross Enduro", but after the relevant success, BMX Special was already an independent magazine with the second issue. Aris managed the magazine until issue 10/1983, when he and his editorial team left the magazine to found their own magazine,"Speed Jump". From then on, Rolf-D. Meißner took over as editor-in-chief and ran BMX Special until the end of the magazine in May 1984.
